DuPont Tychem 6000 FR Protects Employees from Level B Anhydrous Ammonia Vapors
A supermarket chain’s Safety Process Manager was tasked with developing a SOP (standard operating procedure) for limited Level B exposure to Anhydrous Ammonia Vapor during refrigeration maintenance. Current SOP identifies Level A protection, which the Safety Process Manager has identified as unnecessary for short term Level B exposure.
LineDrive worked with DuPont to provide permeation data on the DuPont Tychem 6000 FR coverall which will provide ample time and protection against exposure risk, meeting NFPA2112 and 70E requirements.
Documented Cost Savings:
DuPont Tychem 6000 FR provides compliance with OSHA 1910.134 respiratory regulations, reducing the risk of IDLH from exposure to Anhydrous Ammonia Vapor.
